September Concert: Spring (includes brief AGM at the start)

"Spring" concert convened by Trevor Jones, at the Evelyn Rawlins Room, Square Edge @ 7.30pm. (N.B. The AGM is finished by 7.45 pm). Everyone is welcome. Spring is a time of awakening, and in this springtime concert of piano, violin and voice, the programme brings together the warmth and brightness of music by Kreisler and Bortkiewicz, the fast and energetic music of Haydn and Veracini, and the operatic and tender lyricism of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Wieniawski. An evening of varied musical styles, performed by several Young Performers’ Scholarship entrants and performing members.
