Sensory Story Circle
A gentle, inclusive sensory Story Circle comes to Stockroom, led by experienced storyteller Heather in a welcoming and safe space.
This one-hour session invites disabled people and their loved ones to share in a calm, immersive storytelling experience.
Together, participants will explore simple props and engaging textures designed to stimulate all the senses.
With time to arrive, settle in, and become familiar with the space, the session moves at a relaxed pace to ensure everyone feels comfortable and included.
The story lasts approximately 20–30 minutes, with every participant invited to be part of the Story Circle.
Afterwards, enjoy calming music, sensory projections, and soft lights that promote wellbeing, with time and space to gently roam and explore.
To help keep the session comfortable and supportive, places are limited to 8 participants plus their accompanying people.
