Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Marple railway station
Transport to Walk Start: 10:48 train from Manchester Piccadilly to Marple (final destination Sheffield)
Suggested Ticket: Off-Peak Day Return to Marple £7.40

Waypoints: Marple Bridge, Heys Farm, Cote Green, Cowhey Farm, Glossop Road, Erncroft Wood, Ertherow Country Park, Cherry Tree Estate, Peak Forest Canal, Midshires Way, Compstall Bridge, Brabyns Park, Midshires Way, Marple Locks

Extra: There are no toilets at the start of the walk. Toilets at Etherow County Park. Optional drinks at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs).

A walk around parkland and farmland to the East side of Stockport. Expect to see views of the Peak District Hills and on a clear day the Welsh Mountains.
There are some uneven, undulating paths that may be muddy in parts, so appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn.
There will be no opportunity to purchase food/water at the walk start. Please ensure that you bring with you enough food and water to sustain you for the duration of the walk.
