Sensory Friendly Hour!
A low-light, low-noise shopping experience. The event will be held an hour before we normally open on Sunday, September 7th, from 11am-12pm. Come join us for a reduced sensory experience where headphones are welcomed and encouraged! Also a great way to de-stress and enjoy some green therapy after going back to school!
We will do our best to create a sensory friendly experience with:
-no intercom system,
-no music
-lower light in our sales area
-limited number of employees to keep the distractions and number of people to a minimum.
However, our fans will still need to be on (can be somewhat noisy) and the greenhouse may still be hot. Be warned for anyone with heightened sensitivity to heat! To help combat this, we will have our indoor event space available with AC and a seating area to relax to escape from the heat!
