Sensory Art Lab with the Virginia Down Syndrome Association
Each 1-hour class features 3–4 sensory and art stations where participants can experiment with different art mediums, textures, tools, and techniques. From paint rollers and stamping tools to squishy sensory materials, collage, building, and more, the focus is on creativity, exploration, and having fun—not on creating a perfect finished project.
Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace in a welcoming, low-pressure environment designed to support self-expression, confidence, sensory play, and creative discovery.
Class size is limited to 12 children plus guardians to help create a comfortable and engaging experience for everyone.
