With almost sixty-million Senior citizens in this country alone, this form of adaptive yoga will continue to grow and become more sought after in years to come.
In this TT we will learn two separate full class sequences that can be used to teach students
with different physical capabilities. One sequence will be for Beginners and one Intermediate.
Chairs will be used to adapt many classic yoga postures for students with limited range of motion.
Hands-on-assists will also be discussed in order to give students more confidence in their alignment.
Open to anyone who has taken a teacher training in any discipline.
Michael Stein has been teaching Senior Yoga for ten-years and Vinyasa yoga for thirty-years.
He has directed over fifteen yoga teacher trainings and led many workshops throughout the Hudson Valley on Anatomy, Core Strength, Senior Yoga and Inversions
