The Bedford Parks & Recreation Department will host a Senior Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Ellenwood Center, 124 Ellenwood Ave.
Protect yourself this season with a flu shot or COVID-19 booster. Scheduled participants will receive 10% off their shopping order (up to $20), loaded directly onto their Giant Eagle Advantage Card! Get both vaccines and earn two 10% off rewards for two separate shopping trips—a potential savings of up to $40! Walk-ins are welcome, based on availability of space and supplies. Register online or call 440-735-6570 to schedule your vaccination or for more information. Please bring your ID, insurance card, and Giant Eagle Advantage Card to your appointment.
Plus, take advantage of free health screenings! We’ll be offering complimentary checks for glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, hearing, and more. Several community partners and service providers will also be in attendance.
We're also excited to welcome the University Hospitals Mobile Health Unit to our west parking lot, offering 3-D Mammograms. To schedule a screening appointment, please call the UH Mobile Coordinator at 216-896-1768. Bring your ID and insurance card to your appointment.
Screening mammograms and vaccines are usually covered at 100% by most insurance providers. Check with your insurance provider for coverage of these services.
