Senior Chair Yoga Foundations: Balance, Stretch, & Strength
Advertisement
A gentle, supportive class designed specifically for seniors to help improve balance, mobility, flexibility, posture, and everyday strength in a safe and welcoming environment. This class combines chair yoga, mindful stretching and breath work, as well as functional balance practices to support greater confidence and ease in daily movement.
Participants are always encouraged to move at their own pace. During the balance portion of class, you may choose to remain seated in the chair for added support or explore standing variations using the chair for stability and guidance.
Poses may also be broken down in a more instructional and supportive way, allowing you to explore different variations and discover what feels best for your body and individual needs.
Ideal for seniors wanting to build confidence, improve balance, and maintain an active lifestyle through mindful movement, gentle breathwork, stretching, and supportive strength-building practices.
No previous yoga experience is needed.
