Senior Arts Day 2026 takes place on Wednesday, February 11, at the Parkersburg Art Center and offers a free afternoon of creativity, learning, and connection for older adults. Participants are invited to explore hands-on art workshops, watch live demonstrations, and enjoy refreshments in a welcoming, relaxed environment. Workshops begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Meet & Mingle break with light refreshments at 2:00 p.m., and a second workshop session at 2:30 p.m.Attendees may choose one workshop per session, with options including printmaking, weaving, soft pastels, and an introductory pottery project, all led by experienced instructors. Wood carving demonstrations by the Geppetto Woodcarvers will be ongoing throughout the afternoon. All materials are provided, but space is limited. This is a free event, and advance registration is required to ensure adequate supplies.
