SEND Wonderful Wildlife Weekends at Sydenham Hill Woods
About this Event
A quiet morning session exploring the reserve and the wildlife found here, for families with a member with any additional needs and/or a disability. Activities will include using nets to look at animals found in the pond, looking under logs to see what minibeasts we can find plus additional sensory activities.
Please note this activity is not accessible for wheelchair or buggy users as entrance doors are narrow and there are steep steps leading down. There is an accessible entrance on Grange Lane.
Meet at the Crescent Wood Road entrance, infront of Countisbury House. w3w: twist.design.skips
This session will be led by Moa (she/her) from our Learning & Engagement Team. Sessions run as a series, on the Second Sunday of the Month for four weeks.
Please book one ticket per family.
Sessions are aimed at children of all ages and parents/carers together. All children must be accompanied throughout the session by a responsible adult.
This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves. Please see our for accessibility details.
