Class Overview:This class focuses on practical, real-world self-defense techniques that are easy to learn and effective to use. Participants will learn how to avoid confrontations, recognize early warning signs of danger, and respond confidently if attacked. Techniques will address common situations such as being grabbed, cornered, standing, or on the ground. A live demonstration with students will also be included.
Instructors Bio:
Tony and Steven are lifelong martial artists with over 60 years of combined training experience. They both hold multiple black belts and are licensed Wisconsin Juvenile Martial Arts Instructors. Their teaching experience spans all ages, from young children as early as age 4 to active adults in their late 70s. Tony currently holds an instructor rank in Jeet Kune Do, the newest martial art he is pursuing. Steven is actively training toward a purple belt in Japanese Ju-Jitsu.
