Self Defence Class with Maeve Darcy

Join us for a beginner friendly self defence class for LGBTQ+ women and non binary people. This taster session is designed to equip you with some practical skills and simple techniques to boost your confidence and keep you safe in any situation. No experience needed—just come ready to learn and have fun!

When: Sunday November 17th at 12pm

Where: Theatre (Basement), Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, 105 Capel Street, Dublin 01, D01 R290

Cost: €5 total, or email [email protected] for a free space

Please wear comfortable clothing (e.g. tracksuit pants or leggings and a t-shirt, etc.) and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

About our Coach:

Maeve Darcy from Balance Ireland- Maeve has over 20 years experience in Martial Arts (Aikido and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu). She has international experience training in the USA, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the UK and the Czech Republic. Maeve is a 1st Dan Black Belt in Aikido and a BJJ Blue belt.
