SEEDS TO BLOOM : Summer Solstice Circle

The Temple of Venus is proud to present the final event as part of the Gosport Heritage project 'Seeds to Bloom'. We will be gathering to celebrate the Summer Solstice (One day early, purely as it is Father's Day on the Sunday and many of us would like to celebrate the men in our family's but the solstice is for the girlies!)
We will be doing a casual crafts such as bracelet making, drawing and painting. We will provide bracelet materials, paints and paper. If you wish to bring any equipment of your own, please do so!
Feel free to bring a picnic for 1 or any share dishes, community spirit! Make sure to bring water also, there is a small shop at the entrance however if you wanted to purchase refreshments.
We will be meeting at 12:30 SHARP, as we will cover the entry costs for tickets and would be great to get everyone in at the same time as so the front desk know we are part of the same group.
Please bring any blankets or chairs to keep yourself comfortable, or enjoy the lovely grass. Feel free to roam around the site and learn more about the amazing history that resides in there! There are actors around the village who will hold much knowledge about the 17th century and love sharing.
The weather is set to be mild, with a light breeze. There is lots of cover under trees for shade and or drizzle if that happens. And if it all goes crazy with the weather, we could always go into the garden centre opposite the car park for a coffee and cake.
Please also remember to bring your Heritage Seeds to Bloom Loyalty Cards so you can receive a stamp, if you have attended 2 out of our 3 events then you can claim a free t-shirt and invitation to our Black Tie screening of the film Seeds to Bloom on July 17th.
