Come wearing your favorite costume (or not) and have some freaky fun together dancing on the beach @ sunset! #secretsunrise #dancejoy #music #morejoyCome and have a freaky fantastic frolic sunset dance with us! Please come wearing a costume (or not!) and have fun connecting and dancing with others.Secret Sunrise is a guided dance that celebrates life through music, movement and connection. We use a mix of breath relaxation techniques, mindfulness, play and dance with wireless headphones to create a unique experience like no other. Skilled facilitators will guide you along the way – all ages are welcomed and no dance experience is necessary!
What to Expect
The session is 60 minutes long, and will start with gentle mindfulness before you are guided to dance through a journey of uplifting music, incorporating playfulness, movement, connection, and joy. It is an experience like no other! When you arrive, you will be given a pair of wireless headphones, which will help you to truly feel immersed in the music and the moment, and you will be able to hear your Facilitator through the headphones.

Date: October 27, 2024
Time: arrival @ 6:15pm to check in, receive your headphones and settle into a comfy spot before the session starts @ 6:30pm. (EST)
Location: Alum Creek State Park Beach, 3400 Lewis Center Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035. Look for signs or flags to direct you to our location once you arrive in the parking lot. Please check your email for any messages if there is inclement weather.
What to bring:
A yoga mat or towel/blanket to lay down on
A bottle of water
An open mind :)
layered clothing / costume if desired
We will be moving for 60 minutes, so please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.
