Join an intimate in-person session at Casarotto Ramsay & Associates for a candid conversation on what it takes to get noticed by agents and build meaningful, long-term relationships within the film and television industry.
Designed for a small group of around 10 emerging and established writers and directors; this session will offer practical insights into representation, career development, and navigating the agent-client relationship.
The discussion will feature Agent Assistants' in the Film & TV department at Casarotto Ramsay & Associates, Libby Gervais and Lydia Gordon. Pre-Casarotto, Lydia was a Production Assistant at BBC Studios Comedy, working across Ladhood S3, Black Ops and A Whole Lifetime for Jamie Demetriou. She is a co-founder of DevCom, a network for industry professionals with a focus on comedy, spanning development executives, agent assistants and first feature producers.
Libby previously interned with the development team at Red Planet Pictures (Our House, Sanditon) and has worked as a script consultant on shorts, including the BFI Flare–premiering Please Carry On. She spent the past two years as Industry Workshop Coordinator at The Developing Room, where she leads interactive events supporting emerging screen creatives.
Both are co-founders of AXIS: The POC Scripted Network, a collective championing professionals of colour across development, producing and agency roles in scripted film and TV.
Based in London, represents many of the world’s leading writers, directors, literary properties, and Heads of Department across film, television, theatre, and new media, while continually seeking out exciting new voices and creative talent.
Expect honest industry insights, practical advice, and the opportunity to connect with fellow creatives in an informal setting. Space is limited. Plan is for arrivals from 6:45pm – 7:00pm; Q&A and networking kicks off promptly from 7:00pm - 8:00pm
