Start the Year on a High Note: Join LLELA’s Second Saturday Bird Walk!Calling all bird lovers, nature enthusiasts, and curious explorers! Whether you're a seasoned birder or just starting out, this is your chance to connect with nature in a whole new way. Join us at 7:30 AM for our first Second Saturday Bird Walk of the year, guided by an expert birder who will help you uncover the feathered wonders of LLELA’s scenic trails.
Birding is more than just a hobby—it’s an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the natural world, and marvel at the incredible biodiversity around us. What better way to kick off the new year than by embracing the great outdoors and maybe even starting a resolution to spend more time in nature?
This program is open to ages 10 and up and is perfect for families, friends, or solo adventurers looking to learn and explore. Each month, we’ll visit prime birding spots across LLELA’s diverse habitats, so every walk is a new adventure.
Details:
When: Second Saturday of the month, January 11, at 7:30 AM-10:00 AM
Cost: $5 per person (registration required) + $5/vehicle LLELA entry fee (credit or debit card only)
Registration Deadline: Ends January 10, at 5:00pm. You can find the registration link on our website- LLELA.org on the events page. (Check out our other programs while you're there!)
Tips for a Great Bird Walk:
Bring your binoculars, wear comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather. You never know what feathered friends might make an appearance!
