Second Nature
At the intersection of art, technology, and nature, the pioneering experiential art platform, Superblue, brings together celebrated artists who turn the technologies of everyday life into immersive, poetic environments — asking what we gain, and what we lose, as the digital becomes Second Nature.
Curated by Mollie Dent-Brocklehurst and Margot Mottaz, Second Nature is presented by Superblue, a global platform dedicated to experiential art that champions visionary contemporary artists and large-scale interactive installations. In partnership with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Superblue brings Second Nature to the Art House, marking its official Asia debut and first international group exhibition. Spanning all four floors, the exhibition unfolds as a multi-sensory journey through nine groundbreaking installations by world-renowned artists and studios — Random International, teamLab, A.A. Murakami, Simon Heijdens, and Es Devlin. The exhibition marks the first presentation in India for all five featured artists and studios, with several works specially adapted for Mumbai and its audiences.
Drawing its title from the idea of behaviours that become instinctive over time, as well as a nature reshaped by innovation, Second Nature explores the point at which technology begins to feel organic, inviting visitors to reflect on the systems that shape how we experience the world. From its acclaimed debut in Miami to landmark presentations around the world, Superblue has pioneered experiences that transform audiences from observers into active participants, exploring the evolving relationship between people, technology, and the natural world.
Entry to this exhibition is free for children under the age of 7, and you can book your free ticket online.
You can also explore Yayoi Kusama’s iconic Infinity Room as part of a combo ticket, starting from INR 350.
