Vidyarthi Vishesh 2026: Discover Tomorrow's Artists

Instituted in 1996, Gallery Pradarshak’s Annual Signature Art Students’ Exhibition Vidyarthi Vishesh has created a meaningful meeting point between emerging artists and the public and quietly chronicled the beginnings of several artistic journeys.

This year, its 28th edition reflects the diversity and confidence of contemporary art education in India presenting works by over 25 young artists representing more than seven art colleges across five cities in Maharashtra.  

Painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media and experimental practices come together in a collection that moves comfortably between abstraction and representation, personal narratives and cultural inquiry, traditional techniques and contemporary expression. Rather than following a prescribed theme, the exhibition celebrates the individuality of each emerging artist and the distinct visual language they are beginning to develop.
