Second Chance Sample Giveaway 2026 🌱Charlotte’s free creative reuse event turns design waste into community resources!
Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Innovation Barn for one of the largest sustainability events of the year in Charlotte! 🎉
The Second Chance Sample Giveaway is an annual community initiative dedicated to diverting high-quality design and construction materials from the landfill and returning them to artists, educators, makers, DIYers, and creative problem-solvers across Charlotte.
Since launching, this event has diverted over 40 tons of materials, proving that sustainability, accessibility, and creativity can work hand in hand.

• Fabric and upholstery swatches
• Carpet and flooring samples
• Tile and stone
• Paint and wallpaper
• Wood and trim pieces
• And more surplus design materials ready for their next life
Everything is FREE and available to the community while supplies last.
