Join us for our annual Clean the Queen Volunteer Cleanup Week and make a real environmental impact in Charlotte this Earth Week! 🌎✨Envision Charlotte, in partnership with Keep Charlotte Beautiful and the City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services, invites groups and companies to participate in a week of volunteer action to help clean up Charlotte, build sound panels, and compete for fun prizes during Earth Week, April 20–24.
Why Participate:
• Make a measurable environmental impact in the Queen City
• Team-building volunteer opportunity for your company or group
• Friendly competition: most volunteers, most litter collected, most sound panels created
Volunteer Schedule (Monday–Friday, April 20–24):
• 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | 1st Shift
• 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM | Lunch
• 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM | 2nd Shift
Sign Up for a Shift:
• Check available volunteer slots on our website calendar. Slots marked FULL are already taken.

to reserve your group’s slot (up to 10 volunteers per shift).
Extra Perks & Options:
• Change Please Coffee open 7 AM – 5 PM serving coffee, tea, beer, & wine
• Book breakfast, lunch, or a happy hour with Cuisines Culinary & Catering (email Erica for info)
• Come early for coffee or stay late for a drink and network with other volunteers
Location & Parking:
📍 Innovation Barn | 932 Seigle Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205
Front parking lot + street parking on Otts & Seigle. Limited spots, carpool encouraged.
What to Bring & Wear:
• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Refillable water bottle
• Gloves optional (Keep Charlotte Beautiful provides gloves, litter grabbers, and bags)
Day-of Instructions:
• Meet outside at the start of your shift for orientation
• Litter cleanup teams carpool to assigned off-site locations
• Sound panel teams stay onsite
