We have visitors from the north! Learn more from our friends at the MERR Institute on this NARRATED, educational tour as we cruise out into the Delaware Bay to safely and respectfully observe harbor and gray seals. They can be seen locally during the colder months resting on the inner and outer breakwater walls of our bay. At their peak, sometimes a colony of 50-75+ seals have been seen all together in our area. Some have even given birth while “vacationing” here! We should also see winter birds. Cape Water Tours will donate $2 per guest to MERR for research and rescue. Since our seal watching tours are offered during the winter months, please plan to be extra flexible in the event of a weather cancellation. We always offer the option to reschedule or receive a refund if we have to cancel.
Bring binoculars as we abide by federal law by keeping a safe distance of at least 50 yards (more if there are pups). DRESS WARM! The lower level of the vessel is sheltered from the elements but not heated.
