Set on the shores of Lake Washington at Seward Park, this flat, fast, and beautiful course delivers a true urban race experience just minutes from downtown Seattle. It’s a must-do event for triathletes across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Athletes can choose between sprint and super sprint distances, all in a supportive, well-run setting. You’ll swim in a protected cove, bike on closed roadways, and run through the scenic loop of Seward Park. It’s everything you want in a triathlon without the intimidation.
New to triathlon? You’re in the right place. The Super Sprint is designed with beginners in mind, featuring a shorter 0.25-mile swim, a 14-mile bike, and a 5K run. Prefer to skip the swim or race with friends? Duathlon and relay options make it easy to jump in and participate your way.
The Seafair Triathlon is also home to the largest kids triathlon around. With two kids waves, there’s something for every age. Older kids take on a real swim, while younger athletes can join the wading division before biking and sprinting to the finish. It’s a full family race day.
