A calm, supportive introduction to bezel-setting in sterling silver.
Create your own sterling silver sea glass ring
Create your own sterling silver sea glass ring at Nuglow Wellness Spa Studio & Café.
In this small-group jewellery workshop you’ll learn how to make a ring from start to finish using traditional silversmithing techniques. Working step by step with guidance throughout, you’ll shape a comfortable sterling silver ring band and create a fitted bezel setting around your chosen piece of sea glass.
Each participant selects their own sea glass, meaning every ring is completely individual. For this session I’ll also be bringing part of my rarer multi-coloured sea glass collection to choose from.
This workshop introduces bezel-setting techniques and is ideal for confident beginners or those who have attended a previous silver or sea glass workshop and would like to develop their skills further.
Workshops take place after hours at Nuglow in a calm, relaxed studio setting.
Many people attend on their own, while others come with friends or family — both feel equally welcome.
What You’ll Learn
During the workshop you will:
• measure and form a sterling silver D-shaped ring band• create a bezel setting sized to your chosen sea glass• solder silver safely with guidance• attach a setting to a ring band• refine and polish your finished ring
You’ll leave wearing a finished sterling silver sea glass ring you’ve made yourself.
Materials Included
All materials are included.
A selection of sea glass will be available to choose from, including some rarer multi-coloured pieces for this session.
If you have a special piece of sea glass you’d like to use, you’re very welcome to bring it along.
Workshop Level
Suitable for confident beginners and returning makers.
If you’ve attended a stacking ring or sea glass pendant workshop previously, this is a lovely next step.

Small groups allow plenty of individual guidance throughout.

What To Bring / Safety
For safety during the workshop:
• please wear closed-toe shoes• avoid loose clothing• tie back long hair
All tools and materials are provided.
Age Guidance
Suitable for ages 12+ when attending with a participating adult.
Jewellery workshops can also make lovely birthday or small group experiences if you’d like to attend together.
