FREE EntryThis year’s First Light Festival opening parade theme celebrates the 13 Full Moons which rise in our skies this year.
Join us at our community making days — the Festival Fundays — where you can create a moon costume to use in the opening parade and learn the community mass dance, The Big Bang Boogie!

Sat 16 May 10:30 – 12:00

28 May 10:00 – 15:00 with Space East

Sat 13 June 13:00 – 15:00
Free to attend. All supplies included but bring any tubes, glitter, baubles that you want to reuse.
Parade starts at East Point Pavilion at 11:00 on 20 June 2026.
