The San Diego Tijuana Jazz Festival is a cross-border celebration of jazz, culture, and community, uniting audiences across three cities through world-class performances. Celebrate the musical richness of our region with internationally acclaimed performers as they light up stages on both sides of the border.
On October 3rd, the festival’s marquee event in Escondido brings together internationally acclaimed artists for an unforgettable day of music both indoors and out.
Enjoy free outdoor performances, and a ticketed mainstage lineup indoors at the California Center for the Arts featuring multi-Grammy winning drum virtuoso Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band, scintillating Latin jazz pianist and composer Danilo Pérez with the SDSU Jazz Ensembles, and the all-star 7-piece Mingus Dynasty band from NYC. Additional performances by Lucía and the Familia Gutiérrez and Charlie Chavez y su Afrotruko.
