SCYTHIAN

Join us on the lawn for a high-energy night of Celtic rock and folk fusion with Scythian. 🍀🔥🎻
Known for their electrifying live performances, Scythian blends Celtic, Eastern European, and Appalachian roots music into a concert experience that feels part barn dance, part rock show, and completely unforgettable. With soaring fiddles, driving rhythms, powerful harmonies, and infectious energy, the band creates a joyful atmosphere that gets audiences dancing, singing, and moving together from the very first song.
Formed by brothers Alexander and Danylo Fedoryka and joined by Ethan Dean and Johnny Rees, Scythian brings together influences ranging from Ukrainian folk music and bluegrass to Cajun rhythms and folk-rock classics. Their performances are technically masterful while still feeling welcoming, spontaneous, and community-centered.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, enjoy local food trucks, and spend a summer evening surrounded by music, dancing, and connection in downtown Dayton. Everyone is welcome on the lawn.
Special thanks to Port Authority, Kim & Mark White, and Henny Penny for helping make free live music possible for our community.
