Buck Mess, Scott Brookens, and Mark Whitaker played their last show with Menace at Summer’s Last Blast in 2024. Not ready to give up playing but too tired to continue playing full blown rock shows, Scott and Buck decided to do an acoustic interpretation of the 70s, 80s and 90s songs they enjoyed playing over the years. Having a difficult time finding a second guitar player, they invited Mark back to play acoustic bass.
Scrap Metal is heavier than your normal acoustic show but less aggressive and a more personal experience than a full rock band with drums and distortion. From 80s metal and Zepplin to Goo Goo Dolls and INXS, the catalog of songs is diverse, and the sound has a new groove. This band is all about good friends having fun playing good music.
