Un viaggio fra opere legate alla giovinezza e al desiderio di scoperta, sperimentazione e crescita che la contraddistingue.

Da Impromptu di Fauré, composto con la finalità di mettere alla prova le abilità tecniche dei giovani talenti emergenti e stimolarne la crescita artistica, a Contemplation di Henriette Renié, che per antonomasia rappresenta la giovinezza nel mondo arpistico, per proseguire con Caplet, considerato un innovatore che ha ringiovanito il repertorio arpistico con tecniche moderne e proiettato lo strumento verso il futuro.

I brani in programma di Spohr e Scarlatti rappresentano, invece, una rottura con gli schemi della musica tradizionale, in un’ottica di sperimentazione e scoperta.

Le figure femminili dominano sia Jardin Mouillé (dedicata all’arpista Marcel Grandjany, giovane prodigio) sia Près de Ruisseau Mélanie Bonis, giovanissimo talento.

Il viaggio si conclude con La Mandoline di Parish Alvars, che vuole emulare - attraverso una tecnica virtuosistica e innovativa - il timbro del mandolino.
