Spensieratezza/oscurità

L’a “apparente spensieratezza di un prato dove giocano bambini e la premonizione di qualcosa di oscuro che dovrà succedere”, sono le parole di Gervasoni nel descrivere i Prés per pianoforte, una serie di brevi pezzi ispirati al mondo fanciullesco, dove l’atmosfera serena viene rovinata da una minaccia incombente, un’oscurità che grava col suo peso sui pensieri altrimenti gioiosi.

Il programma proposto alterna questi due sentimenti in un filo conduttore che è la sperimentazione e la scoperta, o meglio la riscoperta, del pianoforte e della sua trasformazione tramite la scrittura virtuosistica pura o le preparazioni leggere o dall'impatto sonoro molto forte.

Verrete accompagnati in un viaggio esplorativo attraverso i brani più recenti del repertorio contemporaneo, in cui la tradizione dello strumento romantico per eccellenza si rinnova, dando vita a una nuova concezione del pianismo, che in questo concerto verrà messa a confronto con altri strumenti, quali il toy piano e il sintetizzatore.

The 'apparent carefreeness of a meadow where children play and the premonition of something dark that must happen,' are the words of Gervasoni in describing the Prés for piano, a series of short pieces inspired by the world of childhood, where the serene atmosphere is marred by an impending threat, a darkness that weighs heavily on otherwise joyful thoughts. The proposed program alternates these two sentiments in a common thread that is the experimentation and discovery, or rather rediscovery, of the piano and its transformation through pure virtuosic writing or light preparations or those with a very strong sound impact. You will be accompanied on an exploratory journey through the most recent pieces of the contemporary repertoire, in which the tradition of the romantic instrument par excellence is renewed, giving life to a new conception of pianism, which in this concert will be juxtaposed with other instruments, such as the toy piano and the synthesizer.
