About this Event
Overview
Join us for an evening of lively panel discussions, practical insights, and open Q&A exploring some of the most debated topics in Scope 3 decarbonisation.
We’ll be bringing together sustainability, procurement, technology, and carbon data leaders to challenge assumptions, share real-world examples, and discuss what is actually helping companies move from disclosure to measurable climate action.
Expect two high-energy sessions, plenty of audience participation, and drinks afterwards for informal networking.
Session 1: PCFs — Messiah or Menace?
Product Carbon Footprints are often presented as the next big step in Scope 3 transparency. But are they really accelerating climate action, or are they becoming yet another reporting burden for suppliers and procurement teams?
Chaired by the infamous Oliver Hurrey from the Scope 3 Peer Group, this panel will explore the promise and pitfalls of PCFs: where they add value, where they create complexity, and whether they are helping companies make better decarbonisation decisions.
Expect a lively debate covering questions such as:
Are PCFs the key to more accurate Scope 3 accounting, or a distraction from action?
Can suppliers realistically produce reliable PCF data at scale?
Do PCFs drive better procurement decisions, or just create another form to fill in?
How should companies balance precision, speed, and impact?
Session 2: AI for Sustainability Impact
AI is rapidly changing how companies collect data, understand emissions, engage suppliers, and identify reduction opportunities. But where is it creating real climate impact today, and where is it still hype?
In this session, leaders from Sweep, Salesforce, SAP, DitchCarbon, and others will share practical AI use cases from across the sustainability space, with a focus on real customers, real workflows, and measurable outcomes.
The discussion will explore how AI is being used to increase sustainability impact, including supplier emissions intelligence, automated data collection, faster reporting, better decision-making, and scaling decarbonisation programmes across complex value chains.
Closing
Both sessions will include plenty of time for audience Q&A, giving attendees the chance to challenge the panel, share their own experiences, and dig into the controversial questions that often get avoided.
Join us for an honest, practical, and provocative evening on the future of Scope 3, followed by drinks and networking.
