Scone Cash Players | South Beach Jazz Festival 2027
About this Event
Led by acclaimed Hammond organist Adam Scone, Scone Cash Players push the boundaries of traditional organ music with a distinctive blend of soul-jazz, funk, boogaloo, and Brazilian influences. With the Hammond organ taking center stage, the group delivers infectious grooves, creative improvisation, and a sound all their own.
A veteran of the international jazz and soul scene, Adam Scone has performed alongside legends including Lou Donaldson, Jimmy Cobb, Melvin Sparks, and Sharon Jones. His extensive career includes appearances on more than 50 recordings and tours throughout the United States, Europe, and South America.
The group has released four full-length albums, including the Brazilian-influenced Brooklyn to Brooklin on Daptone Records and the funk-driven Blast Furnace! on Colemine Records.
Join us on Lincoln Road for a performance that brings together the traditions of classic organ jazz and the adventurous sounds of contemporary funk and soul.
