This is a free, all ages event with hands-on activities designed to encourage curiosity in the sciences. Parking is free on the weekend.
Children will learn about explosions, fossils, volcanoes, the aurora borealis, animals and space while enjoying liquid-nitrogen ice cream, balloons and much more, in a safe and fun learning environment. There will also be a scavenger hunt with prizes, educational crafts to take home, and science shows featuring demonstrations in physics, chemistry, and more!
This year's theme is Science Fun in the Midnight Sun!
The 2026 Science Potpourri will take place on Saturday, April 11 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm in the Reichardt Building on the UAF Troth Yeddha Campus at 1930 Yukon Dr.
