Science on Tap: She Matters

Join us for She matters: understanding stroke risk, prevention, and recovery in women, where we’ll dive into how strokes uniquely affect women. Learn about specific risk factors and explore challenges in recovery faced by women. We'll also highlight new research aimed at improving care, prevention and outcomes for women.

Our two speakers tonight are experts in the field of women's health, with a focus on cardiovascular disease:

Dr. Ada Tang is a Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, and currently serves as the Assistant Dean for the Rehabilitation Science Graduate Programs.

and

Dr Kevin Moncion is a Post-doctoral Researcher in the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University in Montreal, QC.
