School's Out! Martin Luther Kings Favorite Foods!

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy with a fun and educational kids' cooking class inspired by his favorite dishes! Young chefs will learn to prepare a soulful New Orleans Gumbo with chicken and sausage, mastering the art of creating a flavorful roux and the perfect blend of spices. They'll also perfect the technique for cooking fluffy rice to accompany the gumbo. To end on a sweet note, they'll make warm and comforting bread pudding, a classic dessert loved by many. This hands-on class combines history, culture, and delicious flavors for a meaningful and tasty tribute to MLK’s favorite foods!

Price is per person, and unfortunately, Sawyer is limited in its ability to register multiple adults for a single class. So, if you would like to register another adult for this class, you must sign them up as your child. Simply choose "ADD CHILD” and enter your guests name and a birthday. This will allow you to register another participant. Price is per person, so it will add the additional cost for the seat. Or you can have your guest(s) create an account and register themselves separately.
