School’s Out—Come Spend the Day With the Herd!
Looking for something meaningful and fun for your child during school breaks? Join us at Oregon Horsemanship and Melody’s Haven of Hope for days filled with horses, friendship, learning, and connection!
Our camps focus on building a relationship with the horses—getting to know their personalities, learning how they communicate, and discovering what it means to be a kind and thoughtful partner. Through hands-on horse activities, grooming, horsemanship, and teamwork, campers practice confidence, patience, and problem-solving while making special memories with the herd.
Upcoming Youth Camp Dates:
Veterans Day: November 11
Thanksgiving Break: November 23–25
Winter Break: December 21–23 and December 28–31
Time: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Cost: $90 per day
Mix and match your days! Come for 1, 2, 3, or all the days that work for your family. You don’t need to attend an entire session to join the fun!
Our horses have found a forever home here, and each has something special to share. We help youth see horses as individuals with feelings, needs, and stories of their own—while creating a place where children can feel connected and supported, too.

Looking for Horse time for your yourself, we have Healing with Horses workshops for women:
HEALING WITH HORSES WOMEN’S WORKSHOPS
Give yourself time to slow down, take a breath, and connect—with the horses, yourself, and other women.
These ground-based gatherings offer a welcoming space for quiet reflection, guided activities, and shared conversation. Come as you are and discover what time with the herd may hold for you. No horse experience is needed.
November 14 — 5:30–7:30 PM
November 19 — 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
December 9 - 12:00-2:00
December 19 - 5:30-7:30 PM
January 6 - 12:00 - 2:00
January 16 - 5:30 - 7:30
