School of Rock and GYS Present Battle of the Bands

Join the School of Rock and Glencoe Youth Services as they present Battle of the Bands at Madame Zuzu's on Fri Apr 18, 2025 at 7:00 PM !

Local kids' bands from the North Shore area have been selected to ROCK on stage to raise funds for the Glencoe Youth Services programs. The School of Rock Highwood House band will open the show, followed by 5 other local bands made up of middle and high school students from all over the North Shore. Come see what our local young talent has to offer while supporting our Glencoe youth community!

The School of Rock mantra is to get students on stage performing, with the goal of building strong musical proficiency. Our goal is to quickly develop a basic competence on students’ chosen instruments and get them to ROCK live on stage! From there, our rockers advance on their instruments and often learn other instruments! All of our programs include weekly lessons as well as group classes or bands depending on the age and ability of each rocker. We offer a wide variety of private instruction and bands for ages 7 and up!

Glencoe Youth Services (GYS) provides recreational, educational, social service and leadership opportunities in a safe and supportive environment to high school and middle school age youth in New Trier Township. GYS also operates the Special Needs Adult Pals (SNAP) and the Young Adult Pals (YAP) programs, which provide social activities and support for people with mental and/or physical disabilities.

Bar, tea, coffee, signature pastries, and shopping will be available throughout the event.

The kitchen is closed during the event. (no dinner service)

All sales are final. Seating is first come, first serve.
