Join us at the Klamath County Museum for the first of our free second Saturday program on September 12, at 11 am.
During this event, you will learn about the history of scarecrows and harvest season in the Klamath Basin. You will design and build mini scarecrows from upcycled materials. You will also have the chance to discuss harvest season in the Klamath Basin and ways farmers keep crops safe from pests, while also keeping the wildlife ecosystems unharmed. Coloring sheets and “corn mazes” will be available. See if your mini scarecrow can get through your maze!
