Saudia Young is a New York–born actress and singer with a voice soaked in caramel whiskey and a stage presence that commands the room. A true genre-bender, she drifts effortlessly from rhythm & blues to Django swing to jive, stitching eras together with sharp wit and fearless delivery.

Her greatest instrument is storytelling—equal parts sly humor and pointed edge—echoing the theatrical swagger of Cab Calloway and the subversive spirit of German Kabarett. Young doesn’t just sing songs; she inhabits them, bending vintage sounds into something vividly present and alive.

In 2017, she released the 7" single Noir Rockabilly Blues, produced by Lars Vegas-DE, featuring “The Wobble” and a bold take on Iggy Pop & The Stooges’ “Lust for Life.” This was followed by her 2018 debut LP Unlovable, recorded live at Berlin’s legendary Lightning Recorders. The album blends originals and reimagined classics, showcasing Young’s intoxicating voice and razor-sharp narrative style—timeless, modern, and unapologetically alive.
