We are so excited to host local author/illustrator Sarah Brannen! Sarah will be sharing her newest book, Lolly On The Ice, a sparkling winter tale about self-confidence on and off the ice. Lolly loves ice, and skating on it is her happy place. But when she performs in front of other people….well, her insecurities get the best of her, and she freezes. This sweetly encouraging tale is perfect for anyone who has wanted to shine--but wondered if they could.About Sarah S. Brannen
Sarah S. Brannen is the author and illustrator of over two dozen picture books. She is the author of Uncle Bobby’s Wedding and the illustrator of the Sibert Honor-winning Summertime Sleepers, written by Melissa Stewart. Sarah is also a figure skating journalist and photographer who has interviewed hundreds of skaters over the years, from Peggy Fleming and Scott Hamilton to Michelle Kwan and Gracie Gold.
