Saturday Afternoon Sound Bath | Hove
About this Event
Saturday Afternoon Sound Bath in Hove.
Hosted by Halo Yoga & Sound.
You've survived the Saturday shop. The children are engaged in character development. For one glorious hour, nobody needs anything from you.
Designed to sit in that natural pause between the busyness of the day and the evening ahead.
An hour-long sound bath using Tibetan singing bowls and gentle gong helps guide the nervous system out of its busy, alert state and into slower, quieter rhythms, supporting the body to soften, unwind, and settle. Even a single session has been shown to reduce feelings of tension, fatigue, and low mood.
Simply lie down, get comfortable, and let the sound move through you.
People experience this in different ways. Some drift into deep relaxation and lose track of time. Others find problems quietly resolving themselves, emotions gently releasing, a sense of lightness and space. Occasionally there are vivid colours and geometric patterns.
Whatever comes up, there’s nothing to figure out. Just let it pass through.
Suitable for complete beginners and anyone curious about sound healing.
What’s provided: mats, bolsters, and blankets.
Worth bringing: an eye pillow or mask, extra cushioning if you like more support, and any layers to keep yourself comfortable. The more physically settled you are, the easier it is to drop in.
Please arrive 5 minutes early.
Held fortnightly on Saturday afternoons at 7Temples, Third Avenue, Hove - a warm, welcoming studio just off the seafront.
Led by a qualified yoga teacher and Tibetan sound healing practitioner, trained in the Himalayas.
Tickets £15. Book your place here.
