ποΈ FREE TO JOIN β’ 21+ BAR CRAWL
Calling all Santas, elves, reindeer, Krampuses, snowpeople, and other festive misfits!
SantaCon is coming back to Trinidad, and we're bringing more costumes, more carols, more mutant toys, and a whole lot of holiday cheer!
π Waitβ¦ what's SantaCon?
Imagine a wandering herd of Santas and holiday creatures taking over downtown for an afternoon and evening of festive absurdity.
We dress up, visit local bars, sing hilariously inappropriate Christmas carols, support local businesses, hand out gifts, and generally make Trinidad a little more ridiculousβin the best possible way.
It's part costume party, part holiday bar crawl, part spontaneous street theater, and part community celebration.
You don't have to know to join. Just show up in costume and become part of the holiday magic!
π Mutant toys and unexpected gifts
On December 12, we're hosting a family-friendly Mutant Toy Workshop at Mutiny Cafe, where neighbors will transform old toys into wonderfully weird creations.
On SantaCon day, we'll carry those mutant masterpieces through downtown and give them away to spread a little unexpected joy!
Want to bring your own small gifts, candy, or festive surprises? Absolutely! Just keep them appropriate for the people receiving them, and remember that giving is the point of the Holidays.
π» The SantaCon route
We'll gather at The Well at 4 PM and make our merry way through downtown.
π 4 PM-ish β The Well: Santa assembly and first stop
π¦ 5 PM-ish β Moose's: More Santas, more cheer
πΆ 6 PM-ish β Manetelli's: Caroling and holiday mischief
π 7 PM-ish β The Marketplace: Keep the festivities rolling
π 8 PM-ish β Trinidad Lounge: Final scheduled stop
Times are approximate. Follow this event page for route updates, changes, and where to find the roaming Santa herd.
Support the participating establishments, tip your bartenders, and remember: you don't have to drink alcohol to participate in SantaCon.
π The Four F*cks of SantaCon
We believe in a little SANTARCHY β but even festive chaos has a code.
1. Don't f*ck with the police.
Keep it legal, respectful, and peaceful. We're here to spread cheer, not cause trouble.
2. Don't f*ck with security or venue staff.
Respect the establishments welcoming us, follow staff instructions, and tip generously.
3. Don't f*ck with kids.
It's their holiday, too! Be awesome to families and children. Keep the adult humor and inappropriate carols for consenting grown-ups.
4. Don't f*ck with other Santarchists.
Look out for your fellow Santas. Respect boundaries, practice enthusiastic consent, and help anyone who needs a hand.
β€οΈ The Santarchy spirit
π COSTUMES ARE THE POINT! Dress like Santa, Mrs. Claus, an elf, a reindeer, Krampus, or any holiday character your twisted imagination can conjure.
πΆ SING LOUD, SING BADLY! We'll share our SantaCon Book of Carols here in the event so you can learn the wordsβor at least shout along enthusiastically.
π GIVE FREELY! Spread joy with handmade mutant toys and small surprises. Ask before giving gifts to children, and let parents decide what's appropriate.
π» BE GOOD TO LOCAL BUSINESSES! Buy something if you can, tip well, and leave every stop better than we found it.
β€οΈ CONSENT IS SEXY! Ask before hugging, touching, photographing someone up close, or involving strangers in our shenanigans.
πΆ STAY SAFE! Use sidewalks and crosswalks, keep public spaces accessible, pace yourself, and arrange a sober ride home. Luckily, most of Trinidad is "stumbling distance".
