Santa Monica Conservancy: Main Street Walking Tour
About this Event
Led by Mark Gorman, street historian and author of the award-winning blog The Street Seen, this guided walk reveals Main Street as a lively hub of Ocean Park, where layers of architecture, culture, commerce, and community history come together.
Along the way, guests will hear stories shaped by years of close observation, research, and curiosity about the street and its surroundings. Tour sites may include the First Roy Jones House, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Building, the Merle Norman Building, the Ocean Park Library, and more.
The tour begins at the historic Shotgun House, located at 2520 Second Street in Ocean Park. Check-in opens at 10:15 AM, and the tour begins promptly at 10:30 AM.
Please note: Tickets are $15 when purchased through Eventbrite. To save $5, book directly through the Santa Monica Conservancy website.
Santa Monica Conservancy members may attend this tour for free, but member tickets must be booked directly through the Conservancy website. Member tickets are not available through Eventbrite, and Eventbrite purchases are non-refundable.
