Join Sanford Pride in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade
Sanford Pride warmly invites individuals, allies, and organizations who believe in diversity, inclusion, equality, and love for all to march with us in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade.
As an LGBTQ+ organization, Sanford Pride is proud to support this meaningful community tradition that honors the life, legacy, and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We come together in the spirit of unity, justice, and service, celebrating the values that continue to guide and uplift our community.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade will take place on
Monday, January 19, 2026, in the historic Goldsboro community.
The parade begins at Crooms Academy of Information Technology,
located at 2200 Historic Goldsboro Boulevard.
Participants are encouraged to proudly demonstrate brotherhood, sisterhood, brotherly and sisterly love, nonviolence, and service to humanity—lifting one another up and never tearing one another down.
Together, let us come together, work together, and build a stronger, more inclusive community. With unity and purpose, we can help make this one of the most meaningful and memorable celebrations yet.
We look forward to our entry being led by Sanford's first lady of Drag Ashley Satine and some of Central Florida leading Drag Queens Ambassador's and marching with you in honor, love, and solidarity.
