Sandhills Stroll Series: Guided Fitness Hike

The Sandhill Stroll Series is a monthly program featuring a variety of topics led by subject matter experts. For our inaugural Stroll, we’re partnering with personal trainer Lori Comshaw for a fitness hike. As we walk, Lori will share insights on the many physical health benefits of spending time outdoors for overall wellness. The hike will follow an approximately 2-mile loop with some hilly terrain and we will keep a steady, active pace with plenty of breaks to enjoy the scenery along the way. Participants should plan accordingly and bring comfortable shoes and water. This walk is suitable for a range of fitness levels and offers a fun, supportive way to get moving while connecting with nature. This is a family-friendly event. Well-behaved, socialized dogs are welcome but must remain leashed at all times. Registration is limited to the first 40 participants. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
