SAN ANTONIO - Golden Rollers Tricycle Club

Welcome to the Golden Rollers!

Golden Rollers is Ghisallo Cycling Initiative's tricycle-based exploration program for adults aged 50+. Every Friday morning, our expert staff guide groups of seniors on fun, easy rides through the city on our fleet of tricycles.

All of our rides begin from Lions Field Adult and Senior Center, and each Friday features a 9 AM Easy Rider group for short, easy excursion, followed by a longer 10 AM Destination Ride.

If you're new to the Golden Rollers, check out the page for New Rider Orientation! All participants must join us for this brief introductory class before riding with a group.

No bike? No helmet? No problem! We provide everything you need.

Ride with us to explore the city from a new perspective, learn important skills for safe cycling, and make some new friends!

Friday morning kicks of with a 9 AM Easy Rider ride.

On this ride, we cover about 3-5 miles at a gentle pace exploring the trails in Brackenridge Park and the nearby River Road neighhborhood.

Because the Easy Rider group sticks to quiet neighborhoods streets and pedestrian trails in the park, this is a perfect opportunity for those looking to try our program for the first time, or for those who are still getting comfortable on the tricycle.

Following the Easy Rider ride, we head out once again at 10 AM for a longer Destination Ride.

This ride covers about 5-7 miles and takes us to cultural sites and fun experiences all over dowtown San Antonio.

Some past destinations include a tour of Ruby City Contemporary Art Center, the Alamo, and holiday decorations in La Villita!

• all participants must wear a helmet for the entire duration of the ride
• all participants must be members of Lions Field Adult and Senior Center
• all participants must complete New Rider Orientation before riding with the group
• all participants must sign a liability release waiver from Ghisallo Cycling Initiative before riding
