About this Event

:
Friday, April 10, 2026, San Antonio Black History Tours presents the Eastside Classic Tour, a signature experience exploring the historic Eastside—long recognized as the cultural, educational, and political center of Black San Antonio.

This guided tour uncovers stories rooted in place: from education and arts to community organizing and self-determination. Participants will walk and ride through spaces where Black history was lived, built, and preserved—often against great odds.

…and additional Eastside locations that tell the story of Black resilience and collective power.
