The Held and The HiddenThis November we meet to immerse in the subject of Love, belonging and how we hold and are held as we walk into the lunar more reflective part of the year.
Samhain has long been associated with connection to the ancestors and the unseen forces in this radiant world. Modern life has all but cut off our tangible connection with so many of our non human friends who walk by our sides, leaving us lonely and isolated in our closed and shut off small family units.
Samhain is a beloved time of the year in The Heroine’s Path. We stand on the threshold between the old cycle and the new, releasing that which is ready to go, and conjuring hope, new possibility and courage. It is quite possibly the most profound part of the cycle; one definitely where magic happens.
On this day retreat we delve into the themes of
HOPE
INTUITON
TRUST
SUPPORT
We will be forging deep honest connection and reciprocation with our ancestors, and seeking out the possible obstacles which shut us off from their love and belonging. Our ancestors wouldn’t have dreamt of walking this life without spiritual back up, let’s lean in and reach for the gentle holding that is waiting for us.
We will also actively tend the fire of our faith, intuition, and ability to expand in to the risky unknown for this is the gift of this time of the year. If we can increase our inner capacity and connection we can step better into the dark to taste life brewing, and experience living in its fullness. This is the moment in the year where we fall into softness, release and surrender. Let yourself melt, and let yourself know you will be held. We may feel excited about the transition into the darker months or we may feel apprehensive and unable to let go of the sun.
But for every single one of us, the winter and its gifts awaits.
Questions we will ask ourselves..
Am I able to receive?
What stands in the way of my ability to receive?
How rooted do I feel in my core?
What radiant light of hope do I wish to carry tenderly into the heart of the winter?
The Full Day retreat includes:
Environmental Arts Therapy, Somatics, Breathflow, Dreaming and Community Ritual.
