Saltspring Leather Mask Making Class!
Two dates are available on Saltspring!

Class size limited- pre registration required
In one 3 1/2 hr class you can learn how to make your own natural leather mask! It is easy, creative and fun.
You can design your own, or use one of my many templates.
Perfect for Halloween, theatre, ritual, performance or art!
We will be using a traditional water hardening technique, which is basically sculpting wet leather with your hands and tools, and manipulating it to hold shape as it dries...
All supplies are provided, other than a pair of sharp household scissors, which you are asked to bring.
Note-- We will *not* be painting them in this class, the masks will be the beautiful natural tan colour when we finish . instructions for dying and painting will be provided, so students can do that in their own time if they desire.
IMPORTANT :Class size is limited and Halloween is a busy season, so advance registration with deposit is required.
