Welcome to another 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗔 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗡𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 weekend with Magda Prichodko 14-15 February in Oslo, Norway! 💃🏾🕺 For all salsa lovers, whether you dance on1 or on2.
Magda Prichodko:
After nearly 2 decades of dancing and teaching across dozens of countries, I’ve learned how rarely social dance is being introduced and thought as language - a mean to connect and communicate with each other! It stunned me how little we understand what it takes to make our dance floor communication not only effective but also joyful! Till this days I hear voices in my workshops “Why no one has told me that before? I’ve never thought about it like this?”
So I dedicated latest years of my career to mastering the art of teaching social dance as language, not just patterns.
Including:
- true roles of leader and follower,
- each relative responsibilities and rights,
- code of conduct
- basic Latin dance “gramma” elements and rules
- common expressions
- Trouble-shooting “Why it doesn’t work on the dance floor?”
And till this point I love seeing dancers eyes going wide with amaze of AHA moment when simple detail can fix or drastically improve not only technique but whole dancing experience.
