The Salisbury Community Band will present "The Wind Band Classics-Oldies but Goodies" on Sunday, February 2 at 3:00 pm at A Church Called Christ, on Phillip Morris Drive in Salisbury. The concert is free and open to the public.
The program will include lively selections from film, Broadway, familiars British and American Classics, and popular music-something for everyone!
The Music Director of the all-volunteer Band is former local public-school band director Howard Snow.
The Salisbury Community Band has a rich musical heritage dating back to 1937 and maintains the tradition of sharing that heritage with local resident. It also provides an opportunity for local professional and amateur musicians, from high school students to seniors, to exercise their talents.
